How to Close? • Inform the applicant that they must pay $99 for Pre-License Course and $50 for state exam. • Collect pre-licensing registration form, including credit card information or check for $149. • Schedule them to report to the office the following day to register for pre-licensing course and state exam and orientation.
Next Day at the Office • Register them for the pre-licensing course & exam. • Verify students can log in and access training modules. • They will have 10 Days to complete pre-licensing course. • We will mentor/monitor/encourage their progress on a daily basis by calling, emailing and personal observation. • Give sponsorship homework assignment.
What do we do when they pass exam? • Have the applicant bring their passing results to the office. • Scan and email passing results to: • agoss@torchmarkcorp.com or taking@torchmarkcorp.com or fax to 972-569-4078.
Getting the Agent Appointed • Have agent apply online through NIPR.com to get license appointed with state. • Verify license has been issued through NIPR • Activate agent number by emailing Angie Goss or Twanya King that license has issued. This will get commissions released from escrow. • Now drive them to 40% and $7,500 submitted.
What next if they fail the exam? • Counseling session – DOME. • Repeat online course & schedule 2nd exam. • Retake Exam. • Put them on a Temp License (if available). • Drive them to 40% and $7,500 Submitted.
