  13. Satellite Internet WorkshopHawaii 2004 Objectives: This workshop will provide information and case studies on using Satellite Internet to for high speed internet connectivity. The workshop will also highlight uses of Satellite Internet in positioning, and as well as solutions to common satellite connectivity problems. Topics & Presenters: 1. QoS of DA TDMA over Satellite System Sukumar, Temasek Polytechnic and Ezra Pang, NTU 2. Distance education over Satellite system - a case study Tan Chen Wei , NRG, University of Science Malaysia 3. Distributed Location-Aware Transmission for Ad Hoc Networks Bey-Ling Su & Dr. Frank Lee, National Center for High-Performance Computing 4. Satellite Rainfade Mitigation of KuBand - A Novel Solution Lim Seow San, Jackson Wee and Chiah Pei Chin, Temasek Polytechnic

  14. IPv6 Activities • 2 FreeBSD 4.3 machines _ 1 FreeBSD 4.5 Dual Stack • Running a webservice, NetPerf, SSH • Connected to AI3 and 6Bone • Tunneling over v4 networks for staff and student network in TP • Collaborate with USM-NRG on IPv6 Satellite Link Performance measurements.
