Jesus is With Us • Immanuel = “God with us” Matt. 1:23 • His promise Matt. 28:20 • His special promise Matt. 18:20 “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” • He partakes (communes) with us in the kingdom Matt. 26:26-29 • 1 Cor. 10:16 Lord’s Supper is communion • Revelation 1:12-13 in the midst • Rev. 2:1-2 “I know your works”

His Greatness • Immanuel = “God with us” Matt. 1:23, John 1:1 • He created everything John 1:1-3, Heb. 1:1-3, Colossians 1:15-18 • He sustainseverything Col. 1:17, Heb. 1:3 • He is preeminent in all things Col. 1:18 king of the kingdom, High Priest of the royal priesthood, judge in the Judgment, King of kings, Lord of lords, author and finisher of our faith, Alpha and Omega, the one and only Son of God, firstborn among many brethren, head of the body, cornerstone of the foundation, firstborn over all creation, firstborn from the dead • Greatness is in serviceMatt. 20:25-28, Philippians 2:5-11 Because of His greatness, His presence is our privilege
