TERRA ROSSA CABERNET SAUVIGNON VINTAGE 2006 Winemaker notes: Intense red with bright red edges Dense and deep dark fruits, with dark chocolate, prunes and charry vanillanoak notes complexed with a hint of coffee. The palate has a solid core of dark fruits and mocha characters with faint leafiness and spice. 2006 vintage was warm and very early with low yields producing wines of great density and flavour. Made for extended cellaring for 15 or more years. Decant before serving. BOX 305 COONAWARRA SOUTH AUSTRALIA - www.parkercoonawarraestate.com.au Parker Coonawarra Estate Terra Rossawines reflect the stylistic approach to creating beautiful wines from the rich terra rossa soils of the region. The unique micro climate of Parker vineyards located in the southern part of Coonawarra, being less prone to frost with longer ripening on the vine, impart unique qualities in the wine. Integral to the style and structure is warm fermentation followed by maceration on skins. Aged in new and one year old French oak, the result is fruit expression and elegance in structure to add complexity and cellaring potential.

One for the grandchildren. Rating 96 James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2011 Supple and elegant, this medium to full-bodied cabernet is finely balanced and regional. It's scented with developing leathery aromas of fiery baked earth, sweet cassis, plums and greenish capsicum-like notes with undertones of minerals and menthol. The graceful, elegant $40 wine – mostly cabernet sauvignon, with a splash of petit verdot – has at its heart the most beautiful, sweet berry fruit flavours. These are tightly wound oak flavours and tannins into a single, delicious flavour. Parker First Growth Cabernet Merlot 2006 ($110) shares the familial poise and elegance, with even sweeter, richer fruit and more powerful but balanced tannins.
