Business Needs • Improved tracking of open PO’s • Improve period-end close • Produce management and financial reporting • Guarantee proper approval process • Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act: • SEC’s position is that companies should have transactions properly recorded to permit the preparation of financial statements • Reduce the time to process a vendor invoice • Help end-users better manage their purchases

Solution Strategy • Maintain Process Integrity • Allow employees to create multi-line requisitions from their desktop via a browser • Allow easy approvals via email and web links to the web-based PO system • Allow full visibility to open or pending requisitions, and open or closed PO’s • Allow employees to receive product at their desktop and forward paper invoice to AP
Solution Implementation • Aspect Medical chose ISS Group’s TPT Application to provide the web-based PO system • Provides full workflow capability • Allows all users to manage their PO’s • TPT’s security model ensures confidentiality and control • Includes email alerts
Solution Features • Full traceability is maintained across entire process • All Transactions can be performed online from the office or remotely • PO’s can be partially received • Line and Header comments are stored • Each purchase order will show a conformed signature of the approver on it when it prints • Each user can access a report showing their open and closed purchase orders
