Learn about Korea's E-Government for administrative simplification and open government launched by President Lee Myung Park in July 2008. This initiative includes continuous reform efforts to improve work processes, acknowledge organizational culture diversity, and produce accountable results for citizens' right to know and participation. Eligible clients include Korean and foreign nationals, as well as various legal entities. Citizens have the right to know with access to all types of information through the Public Information Disclosure System. ePeople provides a platform for citizen participation through civil petitions, policy dialogue, recommendation, and idea competitions.
