  2. The Birth Of A Legend Bob Marley was born with the name Robert Nesta Marley, and he was born February 6, 1945 in Nine Mile, Jamaica.

  3. His Musical Goals Marley sang about the struggles of blacks in the world, and hoped to encourage racist people to change their ways.

  4. Marley’s Marijuana Choices Bob Marley was often, and usually always, seen smoking marijuana. Marley was often asked if he was trying to get others to do it as well, and he often replied saying that it was his own personal choice, and that he isn’t forcing anybody to do anything. He liked the way it relaxed his mind, and inspired him. He also didn’t want to be made out as a bad person; so he often repeated that when he got asked about his marijuana use.

  5. A Legend’s New Beginning In the midst of Marley’s musical break, he met a woman named Rita Anderson; then soon married her in 1966.

  6. Marley’s Unfortunate Illness and Sudden Death In July 1977 acrallentiginousmelinoma, a form of malignant melanoma he got obtained in a football wound. After a show in New York City, he collapsed the next day jogging in Central Park. He was later pronounced dead; the disease had turn into cancer and spread through the brains, lungs, and liver and just like that, our beloved legend was gone.
