  3. Yates Center Public Schools Mission To provide every student with the educational opportunities necessary to live, learn and work in the 21st century. Yates Center High School Enrollment 128 • KHSAA 2A Classification • cheerleading, football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, track, softball, baseball, and golf.   5. Teacher Qualifications All teachers pass state qualifications. Only 2 classes are taught without Highly Qualified teachers.

  6. Student Demographics District enrollment shows higher percentages than state percentages in white groups, special needs, and females. Student enrollment numbers show trends of steady decrease.

  7. Dropout Rate vs. Graduation Rate District dropout rate was as low as .5% Graduation rate was as high as 90.5%

  8. School Violence / Expulsions / Suspensions Safety is a top priority to ensure a safe educational environment. All schools are monitored with security cameras and are secured with electronic locking devices. • School Violence • 2 males / 1 female • Expulsions • none • Suspensions • 10 male / 8 females Only 3 incidents of school violence were committed during 2007 out of 412 students enrolled.
