  3. Blood Glucose Remove cap , insert a lancet, twist off cover and replace cap • Insert the test strip into the meter to turn it `ON`

  4. Press priming button then press the yellow release button Obtain a blood drop from a fingertip and apply on the strip

  5. Once the blood sample is obtained, remove cap and eject used lancet Results will appear automatically. Remove and dispose of test strips

  6. Normal Fasting blood glucose level 70 and110 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) Impaired fasting glucose, a type of prediabetes 110-125mg/dL  increases your risk for type 2 diabetes Fasting Blood Glucose level 126 mg/dL and higher most often means you have diabetes
