Since 01/01/2013, there have already been 6 accidents involving Eyes During the piercing of material, a small object flies into the right eye of SL. During the assembly of a piece of scaffolding, a piece of metal grit flew into the eye of the SL. The dirt was blown under the glasses of the SL A strong wind blew sand into the eyes of the SL. SL received an object under his eye that was catapulted after a Manitou ran over it SL received a metal splinter in his eye whilst working in the warehouse SL got paint in his eye (Squirting)
Always wear appropriate safety glasses and wear them correctly (where necessary) • Properly fastened • Not loose • No scratches • Do not use safety glasses with sun shading lenses for indoor activities • Possibly use protective goggles
If something still happens: always rinse • Rinsing solution can expire: check use by date • Help with rinsing and do not send anyone straight to hospital. • If irritation remains: consult an ophthalmologist.
