Soooooo …… Just exactly WHO is Ms. Butcher??. Welcome to Ms. Butcher’s Class. I was born in Eureka, California – over 2700 miles away from Sugar Hill, Georgia. Eureka. Born on January 16 to Jerry and Marie Knudsen. Grew up with my younger brother, Steve.

  1. Soooooo…… Just exactly WHO is Ms. Butcher?? Welcome to Ms. Butcher’s Class

  2. I was born in Eureka, California – over 2700 miles away from Sugar Hill, Georgia. Eureka

  3. Born on January 16 to Jerry and Marie Knudsen

  4. Grew up with my younger brother, Steve

  5. We lived in 4 different towns on the coast of Oregon - Gold Beach, Coos Bay, Florence, and Tillamook Coast north of Florence, OR Coast North of Tillamook

  6. I went to Tillamook Junior High School and Tillamook High School from 6th to 10th grade. I was a Tillamook Cheesemaker!

  7. I LOVE Tillamook Cheese!!

  8. I graduated from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon in 1980. Go Pirates!

  9. I went to Seattle Pacific University and graduated from George Fox College in 1984.

  10. I started teaching in 1984. I have taught 4th – 8th grades.

  11. I worked at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park for two summers.

  12. I lived and taught in Whittier, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, for 17 years. Every year, I would take my 6th graders on a Sea Trawl field trip. Robert Torti, who played the dad on The Suite Life of Zac and Cody.

  13. Now here’s my family: Justin, an 11th grader Rebekah, a 10th grader

  14. In 2007, we moved to Georgia where my brother’s family lives so we can be close again!

  15. We created the Holiday Hike Club and hike to different waterfalls on holidays! Toccoa Falls Toccoa Falls Anna Ruby Falls DeSoto Falls

  16. I celebrated my 50th birthday in 2012 with my first trip to New York!!

  17. I had a great time with my brother, sister-in-law and Lady Liberty!!!

  18. This year I ziplined for the first time at Dollywood!
