  3. Story Line Opening • A nest on top of a hill with a single egg in it • Wind blows the egg off the nest and sends it rolling down the hill • Ends up in another nest and hits the other eggs • All crack and end up hatching

  4. Mother bird arrives and feeds all the chicks + penguin with worms. • Penguin hates the worm and almost throws up • This starts the worm hatefulness of the penguin

  5. First Flight Attempt • Little birds successfully attempt to fly • Penguin tries but lands straight on his face • Other birds laugh at him • He looks up with a worm in his mouth • He spits out the worm and the worm mockingly laughs at him and gets away • We follow his line of sight to the edge of the cliff where other birds are flying and coming back with fruit (better food than the hated worm!!)

  6. Second Flight Attempt • Penguin attempts to fly again • He tries in an elaborate way…involving twigs elastic bands… etc      A comical way to try to fly • Penguin fails again • Ends up with the same worm in the mouth again • More laughing?

  7. Final Attempt • Tries to fly again, but something messes up and he ends up flying off the cliff • Tries to fly… closes his eyes

  8. Underwater • Penguin opens his eyes and thinks he’s flying • Sees fishes • Brings back fish to show off
