GEOGRAPHY Czechoslovakia has many land forms. Czechoslovakia is located in Europe, and the country’s longest river is the Vltava River which is 270 miles. The highest point in Czechoslovakia is Mount Sněžka which is 5,256 feet. In Czechoslovakia there are many hills and mountains and there are many natural mineral springs. CLIMATE Czechoslovakia has a temperate climate. The average temperatures in the summer are 68° F or 20° C. The summer climate is mild. The average temperatures in winter are 23° F and -5° C but in the mountains however the winters are harsh. In Czechoslovakia it rains all year long, but the lower areas get rain then the mountains.
