  3. Technologies Used • Java • Android SDK • Google APIs • Subclipse (switched from TortoiseSVN) Why? • Wanted to develop a smart phone application • We all knew Java (opposed to Objective-C) • Used the Google APIs because they provided implementations for google maps

  4. Technologies Used What Worked? • Android + Google API What Did Not Work? • Tortoise SVN did not work as well so switched to using Subclipse. • Android 2.1 API does not include implementation for mail to links (Implemented in Android 2.2)

  5. Lessons Learned & What To Change • Not to use TortoiseSVN • Keep computers on one operating system • Make more classes to grab information easier
