  3. Why Might Binghamton University Build Green? LEED Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design All the pervious. Many Students Want It. Some Facility, Staff, and Researchers Want it. Saves on operating cost. Politically a Sound Practice Good Marketing. LEED Silver is mandated for State Buildings.

  4. GREEN IS OUR COMMITMENT At Binghamton University, green isn’t just our school color, it’s a commitment to our planet and to future generations. Across campus you will find a wide range of environmentally related policies, practices and academic offerings. They demonstrate our commitment to creating a sustainable community by engaging the campus and its partners and neighbors in programs that reduce our impact on the environment.

  5. For four consecutive years, The Princeton Review has selected Binghamton as one of the “greenest” colleges or universities in the nation and placed the University on its Green Honor Roll.
