  2. Resolve… • This psalm was probably composed by David during his reign as king (v. 6b, v. 8) • This psalm is full of promise, resolve and resolution – “I will” is found many times throughout • These resolutions include both the negative and the positive and they need to be ours!

  3. Resolve… • The psalmist was determined to sing of the Lord’s love and justice (v. 1a) • A resolution to accept God’s two-sided character (Rom. 11:22)

  4. Resolve… • The psalmist was determined to sing praises to the Lord (v. 1b) • A resolution to praise God’s greatness (Heb. 13:16)

  5. Resolve… • The psalmist was determined to behave himself wisely in a perfect way (v. 2a) • A resolution to act wisely according to God’s word (1 Sam. 18:5, 14-15; 2 Sam. 22:31-33)
