Main activities • Conferences • For policy-makers: Stockholm 3-4 February 2011 (in co-operation with Nordregio) • For young scholars: Roskilde 24-27 May 2011 (in connection of the Nordic Geographers Meeting) • For researchers: autumn 2011/spring 2012 (in co-operation with the Nordic Section of the ERSA) • Final conference: 2012

Transnational perspectives on spatial planning – Experiences from the Nordic-Baltic countries • Conference for Planners and Policy-makers • Venue: Nordregio (Stockholm), 3-4 February 2010 • Key themes: • Nordic-Baltic countries in the light of ESPON findings • ESPON vis-à-vis spatial and territorial policy at macro-regional, national and regional levels • Messages of the ESPON scenarios – from the metropolitan regions to the NSPA • Europeanization processes in spatial planning in the Nordic-Baltic countries: similarities and dissimilarities • Organizer: Mats.Johansson@abe.kth.se
