geography • 1 .Indonesia is located in between the Indian ocean and pacificocean above Australia . • 2. there are about 17,000 islands and only 6,000 are inhabited. • 3. the largest city in Indonesia is jakata the second largest is surabaya the largest island of Indonesia is Sumatra and the second largest is Celebes . • 4. jakata is located on the north coast western java . • 5. 239.8709 million people live in Indonesia . • 6. mount sago all so known as malintang is in west sutra it is near to the city of payakumbuh and the town of batusangkar . There is a volcano called mount Krakatoa it erupted in 1883 .
Economy • In Indonesia there currency is rupiah . • Over the last 15 years natural gas has been there main export .
environment • Lots of animals live in Indonesia for etc. komodo dragons tree kangaroo water shrew . • In Indonesia you will find hibiscus and wax ginger flower . • Indonesia only have to seasons wet and dry it is mostly tropical weather with the average coastal plains average of 28 degrees .
culture • Ayam kalasan,ayamtali wang,babi guling are some of the traditional food you would find in Indonesia . • Indonesia came From Malaysia and as far as way as china people came. • There are more then 700 languages in Indonesia most belong to the Austronesian language family with a few Papuan languages also being spoken .
history • On august the 17th 1945indonisa declared they were a republic . • The Dutch ruled Indonesia for 350 years and then japan ruled Indonesia for 3 and a half years 1942 to 1945 .
Religion • The 4 main religion in Indonesia is Hinduism ,Islam, protestantism,catholism,buddhism,confucianism.
