  1. QUICK GUIDE TO SPANISH 401 PLAZAS iLrn STUDENT WORKSTATION

  2. Log into your iLrn student workstation athttp://ilrn.heinle.com. If you don’t have an account click on Students to create one.

  3. iLrn STUDENT WORKSTATION Click on Open book or the Plazas textbook icon.

  4. A new window will open: Let’s look at the tool tabs on the right.

  5. Workbook/Lab Manual tab Click on workbook to access the written exercises.

  6. Click on Lab Manual to access the audio exercises.

  7. You will see a list of exercises and their due dates. Completed exercises will show a checkmark next to them.

  8. To access a different chapter, click on the drop down menu.

  9. Textbook Assignments tab Click on the chapter number you want to access.

  10. You will see a list of exercises and their due dates. To access a different chapter, click on the corresponding chapter on the left.

  11. eBook tab Click on eBook to access your Plazas textbook on-line.

  12. This audio and video-enhanced eBook allows you take notes and highlight text.

  13. Click on the icon for instructions on how to use your eBook. A new window will open:

  14. Video Library tab This tab gives you easy access to all videos and video-related activities in your book. To access a different chapter, click on the corresponding chapter on the left.

  15. Enrichment tab This tab gives you multiple interactive activities that help you make the most of your learning experience.

  16. A. Plazas Companion Website Within Enrichment you will find: Launch Plazas website to access chapter-specific self-grading quizzes, flashcards, games, glossary and Internet activities.

  22. Diagnostics tab This tab gives you access to an interactive diagnostic study tool to help you better prepare for exams. Each chapter has: 1. A Pre-Test 2. A personalized study plan 3. A Post-Test

  24. Personal tutor This tab gives you access to experienced on-line tutors with degrees in Spanish.

  25. Voiceboard This tool allows you to participate in on-line chat sessions or to work cooperatively to complete assignments that require recorded teams of two. Instructions on how to use Voiceboard can be found on your instructor’s website.
