ILNV is incorporated as a not-for-profit organisation State-wide two-day Koorie leadership forum ILNV launched Community Conversations A Koorie taskforce was established in 1999. ILNV launches its Yapaneyepuk mentoring program 1999-2002 2003 2008 2009-2010 2011 2012 Community Conversations published in Victoria. ILNV provides a report on Indigenous mentoring Conference 21 Indigenous Leadership Program

Current Partnership Project: Example Yapaneyepuk – Mentor BankAims & Objectives To increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to become good mentors to employers, employees, business people, entrepreneurs, young people and upcoming leaders To develop strategic partnerships that will provide support to mentors and businesses to achieve economic sustainability
Statistics Retention: 77% of companies report that mentoring programs were effective in increasing employee retention; 35% of employees who do not receive regular mentoring look for another job within 12 months. Promotion: 75% of executives point to mentoring as playing a key role in their careers; and 44% of CEO's list mentoring programs as one of the three most effective strategies to enhance women's advancement into senior management. Productivity: Managerial productivity increased by 88% when mentoring was involved, versus only a 24% increase with training alone; 71% of Fortune 500 companies use mentoring to assure learning occurs in their organisations.
