  3. Deut. 4:2 – Not to add to or take away from the law Deut. 4:15-23 – Not to make any graven image to worship

  4. Deut. 7:3-4 – Israelites were not to intermarry with the people of Canaan. They would turn their descendants away from God and would serve other gods. Deut. 8:11-17 – Not to forget God during their time of prosperity

  5. Deut. 27:8 – The words of the Law very plainly Deut. 29:5 – Their clothes and shoes did not wear out in 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.
