Government Controlled Society • The picture is of money, which represents government control of the economy.
Restriction of information and independent thought • The picture of banned books represents the restriction of I&I because it restricts the distribution of ideas.
Citizens shun individuality and conform • The picture of the Jersey Shore represents shunning individuality because they all act and talk so similarly to the point that it is ridiculous.
Citizens fear the outside world • The picture of North Korea represents fear of the outside world because, even though we don’t actually know very much about North Korea, because we were told that they have nuclear capabilities, we fear them.
