More than 50% of college students produce error free papers (Academic Literacy: Spring 2002) “Good writing abilities are equated to good communication skills, which influence many aspects of our lives.”

  3. Module 9: Main Ideas • Program: WAC – Writing Across the Curriculum “Student Involvement” • Strategy: WTL –Writing to Learn • Students take an active part in effective content learning through acquisition of the material.

  4. Module 9: Importance • The primary goal of Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) programs is not just to improve students’ writing; the primary goal is to improve students’ overall learning. -Chris Street, WAC
