Steps in PhD process • find area, supervisor(s), topic (before submitting applications) • form panel, submit proposal (by 5 months) • enrolment provisional for first year • research, writing, conference • more research, more writing, another conference • annual meetings and reports • submit thesis (can be collection of journal articles)
Master of Science (research) - MSc • similar to a PhD but smaller • apply anytime • one-two years duration • domestic students are eligible for APA/UPA scholarships
