  1. Homeopathic Treatment of Aplastic Anemia

  2. Aplastic anemia is a condition where the bone marrow fails to produce platelets, white cells and red cells. It is a type of bone marrow (spongy material inside the bones) failure syndrome. It is a rare but serious condition and can be observed in children as well as adults. The aplastic anemia treatment cost in India by conventional methods, many people are opting for homeopathic treatment of the disease. Aplastic anemia is of two types, acquired and inherited. The latter is caused by gene defects and is mostly seen in children and young adults, and these patients have a higher chance of developing leukemia, while the former is more common in adults and is caused when something triggers problems in the immune systems like viruses such as HIV or Epstein-Barr; toxic chemicals; radiation or chemotherapy for cancer treatment; and certain medications. How Does It Affect The Patient? The red blood cells in the blood carry oxygen from the lungs to all areas of the body, but the body parts do not get sufficient oxygen essential for their functioning. The white blood cells fight infection by attacking and destroying the germs. When their number is less due to aplastic anemia, it leads to poor defense mechanisms, making the individual prone to various infections. Platelets are other components of the blood that control bleeding by forming blood clots at the injury, whose production is stopped due to aplastic anemia and thus results in uncontrolled bleeding since the body does not create enough blood cells due to an inadequate number of stem cells due to an immune trigger that damages them.

  3. Causes of Aplastic Anemia Although the exact causes of aplastic anemia have not been identified, certain factors increase the risk of having the condition. These factors include autoimmune disorders like lupus or eosinophilic fasciitis, drugs and chemical exposures, medical treatments like radiation therapy or chemotherapy, infections such as hepatitis, HIV or Epstein -Barr, family history of one marrow failure syndrome, an acquired disease called paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria in which the red blood cells break down too quickly, and in some rare cases, even pregnancy can cause this condition. Symptoms of Aplastic Anemia The most common symptoms of aplastic anemia include bleeding or bruising easily, dyspnea, heavy menstrual bleeding, fatigue and frequent infections. However, this disease can affect people differently by coming on slowly or suddenly. While some people may have manageable mild symptoms, others may show severe symptoms which require urgent medical treatment. Diagnosis of Aplastic Anemia Aplastic anemia can be diagnosed by carrying out a series of tests like blood tests to measure the platelet, white blood cell and red blood cell levels in the blood or bone marrow biopsy, which includes the removal of a sample of your bone marrow and evaluating it under the microscope. Further Complications of Aplastic Anemia If not treated properly, aplastic anemia can cause severe complications like severe infections, heart complications, bleeding and the disease progressing to acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. Conventional Treatment of Aplastic Anemia

  4. The conventional treatment plan for aplastic anemia may depend upon the patient’s age, symptoms and overall health. The treatment includes medicines like immunosuppressants, bone marrow stimulants, supportive antibiotics, and blood transfusions. Homeopathic Treatment Of The Condition Homeopathic treatment of aplastic anemia aims to stimulate a healthy portion of bone marrow to improve cell production, which reduces the number of blood transfusions. For severe aplastic anemia, it works by enhancing the general vitality and well-being of the patients in order to help them fight infections. Homeopathic medications are also used to control bleeding disorders associated with aplastic anemia. Although India’s aplastic anemia treatment cost might be low, you cannot expect a miraculous cure with homeopathy alone. But, when added to conventional treatment, it can enhance the quality of the treatment. However, homeopathy alone may have limitations in managing the condition, given its pace and grievous nature. One should note that homeopathic treatment is not a substitute for conventional treatments. However, it can be used as an alternative for managing the condition better. Homeopathic treatment has proven to mitigate this disease’s further course and pace. Moreover, the diagnosis of the condition can have a terrible emotional impact on the patient, which can further have a detrimental effect on immunity. Homeopathy also positively influences the psyche of the patient and counters the side effects associated with conventional treatment of aplastic anemia. Homeopathic treatment has an effective long-term beneficial effect or preventive effect in terms of countering genetic tendencies and balancing disturbed immunity that is the root cause of the condition. Since homeopathic medications do not adversely interfere with conventional medicines, they are completely safe. Also, the chances of relapse are significantly diminished with homeopathic treatment of the disease.
