  2. What is lung cancer? • It is cancer originating at lung cell & there is possibility to spread to other lung & nearby organs.

Lung Cancer Stages • Stage 1: The cancer persists with in the lungs only and hasn’t spread to any other tissue out of the lungs. • Stage 2: At this stage the nearby lymph nodes have been tumorized. • Stage 3: The nearby as well as distant lymph nodes are also involved. • Stage 4: Cancer has spread nearby and distant organs in addition to the opposite lung and lymph nodes.

  5. Lung Cancer Types Following are lung cancer types - Small Cell Lungs Carcinoma : • Develops in air passage ways of larger diameter such as bronchi. • Strongly associated with smoking.

  6. Lung Cancer Types Non-small Cell Carcinoma: • Most common type of lungs cancer with a prevalence ratio of 80% •  It may further be divided in to the following types : Adenocarcinoma of Lungs Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Lungs Large Cell Carcinoma of Lungs
