  2. Birth date • Born in 1980 RFG camp in Kawadang, Thailand.

  3. His childhood and youth • In the US Kosal made some very bad decisions. • Moved to the US at the age of 1.

  4. He got arrested in a gang fight at the age of 16.

  5. He was sentenced to 16 years of rehabilitation and imprisonment.

  6. WHY DID HE WRITE?

  7. What are the main influences to his poems?

  8. He was introduced to spoken words by a former Vietnam War veteran.

  9. He remembered listening to lots of poems ever since he was in nursery.

  10. He converts anger , regrets, and experiences into a more poetic expression.

  11. Work experiences and education • 1998- Kosal graduated from the riverside university.

  12. 2011-2012- Kosal worked as a projectionist for legend cinema.

  13. 2011-Kosal served as an artist in residence for New day charity, Cambodia.

  14. Kosal is now working as an artist for studio revolt.
