El Fondo para el Financiamiento del Sector Agropecuario – FINAGRO(Creado por la Ley 16 de 1990)Nació de la necesidad del sector agropecuario y rural de contar con un Sistema Nacional de Crédito Agropecuario y tener una entidad autónoma y especializada en el manejo de los recursos y de apoyo en su sector.
