  2. SAM REPORTS This section will guide you through the Report Wizard in order to run a report of your reconciled monthly charges/expenses.

  3. Report Wizard Report Wizard 1. To run and print a Transaction Review report, click on the menu option Reports, and then Report Wizard. 1 2. On the Report Wizard page, open the folder labeled Transaction Review and click on one of the available Transaction Review reports. We have chosen to run ‘Expense Log’. 2

  5. Report Wizard Continued • Next, select a date range for the report. The ‘Quick Select’ options for date ranges allows you to select dynamic date ranges and easily schedule reports to run. • Select your sorting options. ‘Sort by’ allows you to select the field to sort your transactions on and then you can choose between ascending and descending. • Click Next at the bottom of the page when you are finished defining the report parameters. 1 3 2

Save a Report • Save your report by clicking Save button at the bottom of the screen. • Next, Name and write a Description for the report in the Save Report dialogue box that appears. • Click on Save in the Save Report dialog box to save the report with the new Name and Description. • To choose an Export File Type other than PDF (Adobe Reader), click on the down arrow to select Word (.rtf) or Excel (.xls). 2 3 4 1

Save a Report Bookmark • If you would like the ability to access and run this report from a quick link on your SAM Home/Welcome page, check the box next to Create a Bookmark on Homepage. • Save the changes to the report by clicking Save at the bottom of the Save Report dialog box. • When you Save the report you will see a message at the top of the screen that says “Changes have been saved.” 1 3 2

  8. Schedule a Report When you are creating a report that you want to schedule to run automatically on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly) make sure to assign a Date Range that is dynamic so that you always get the report based on your current month’s charges.

  9. Schedule a Report Continued • Add the details of your scheduled report in the dialogue box as shown below. • Add your Time Zone from the drop down menu. • Add Frequency, Start and End Dates, and Export File Type. 1 2

Schedule a Report Continued • After you click on Save, SAM sends a message indicating the approximate date and time that the report will be ready to be picked up. • This report schedule is now added to your Existing Schedules box. • Results from any/all of your scheduled reports show up as a blue link on your Home page in the Pending and Completed Requests section. 1 2 3
