A little background • The City Interactive Map was created 15 years ago, and has grown and evolved over time from user feedback • It serves as one-stop-shop for employees and public to find geographic information • Internal content for staff & external content for public - all available from one map application • Hosts over 70 layers and dozens of search types • Heavily used with 1,500 page loads per day
Primary technologies Our map is a custom application, created in-house, using the following technologies. • HTML5 • CSS • JavaScript / Dojo • ArcGIS API for JavaScript / AMD
