Rural territory ODYSSEA consolidate the maritime and river harbour cities with their territories as prestigious destination. ODYSSEA: A territorial model of sustainable development • TO REGISTER THE CULTURAL ROUTES “SEA & RIVERS” IN THE GREAT CULTURAL ROUTES OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE • as well as thegreat routes like the road of Phoenicians,the road of the Castilian language and ways of St Jacques de Compostelle… • TO INTEGRATE THESE ROUTES AS THE FIRST EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTES WHICH CONNECT THE HARBOUR CITIES, THE HISTORICAL ROUTES “SEA & RIVERS” WITH THE HINTERLAND. • The Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes, M. Michel THOMAS-PENETTE, drives the Odyssea Experts Committee and is in charge of the presentation in April 2012 of ODYSSEA’S application.
