  3. My major • Hello everyone.My major is music performance,and violin is the instrument of my major. • I started to learn it when I was 8 years old. • In 1997,it became the major of me. • In 2003,came to RENMIN University to go on studying. • In the future,I ‘d like to be a teacher.

A Great Music Composer__Thaikovsky • Born in Russia in 1840 • Been sent to law school but heart was set on music • Studied composition and harmony with Rubinstein full time • The performance of his Second Symphony in 1873 established him as one of the most promising Russian composers • His music attracted the attention of a wealthy widow Nadezdha von Meck • Wrote ten operas,three piano concerts and many famous symphony

  5. About Symphony Orchestra • The strings---constitutes with the double bass ,violin, viola, cello • The woodwind instruments---flute,clarinet,oboe,bassoon • The brass instruments---horn,trumpet,trombone,tuba. • The percussion instruments---timpani,tomtom,drum, small soldier drum and so on
