U.S.-MEXICO BORDER SECURITY SUMMIT Project: CSO ROUNDTABLEASIS juárez CHAPTER THE SECURITY PROFESSIONALS UNITED FOR THE GOOD OF MEXICO.
CONTEXT: The México – United States border is known as one of the world’s busyiest international border, sharing 43 points of entry (POE). The commerce between nations in this area reaches $600 billion dollars each year, with a growing percent rate estimated in 6% annually. Although there have been significant economic and security changes due to international agreements with Mexico, such as the remarkable "Joint Declaration I Twenty First century Border management 2010" by President Obama and President Calderon, there is still a real need for collaboration between the two nations and an integral and innovative approach to the many issues relating to border security.
PURPOSE: Present to the leading multinational industrial companies the favorable conditions in Ciudad Juarez for their company’s growth and establishment of new facilities. The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is the person that analyses the company’s risks, thus a great decision maker at the corporate level to invest; this is a great first-hand opportunity to let them know our region’s strengths and why their business would benefit in our border. We have the experience, quality, location and the best workforce. THE WORLD MUST KNOW IT.
