Trigonometry Review Objective: Students will review History of Trigonometry and basic concepts (sine, cosine, tangent ratios, and Unit Circle)
What is Trigonometry deals with the relations between the sides and angles of plane or spherical triangles. Example: 30-60-90 degree triangle.
What is Trigonometry deals with the relations between the sides and angles of plane or spherical triangles. Another Example: 45-45-90 degree triangle.
In the Unit circle, triangles are constructed such that the hypotenuse has a value of 1
In the Unit circle, the value of sine is y/1, and the value of cosine is x/1.
The angle is measured counterclockwise from the x-axis to the radius of the Unit Circle.
