  32. School District Owned Membership (SDM) www.schoolnutrition.org/Join

School District Owned Membership • Membership that is owned by a school districtin the name of an individual. • Transferable to another employee in the same membership category. • Members receive all the same benefits as an individual member. • All materials is sent to the school district office or school address. • SDM option is not available for the Student, Retired and Affiliate membership categories.

Why SDM? • The goal is to make it easier for school districts to pay for memberships and transfer memberships • Sign up for SDM and get free memberships • For every five new SDMs in the Employee or Manager membership category, your district can receive one free new SDM in the Employee or Manager categories (both national and state dues are free).
