3. Art of LivingOversikt • Art of Living Foundation tilbyr programmer som bringer fram styrken, freden, og gleden som finnes inni et hvert menneske. Ved å gi næring til sinnet og medfølelsen i hvert enkelt menneske ønsker organisasjonen å bidra til å skape et verdenssamfunn som er fritt for stress, vold og lidelse – og fullt av service, visdom og feiring. • Art of Living Foundation er inspirert av programmene til den åndelige lederen H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, som begynte i 1982. I 1996 ble organisasjonen godkjent av FN som None-Governmental Organisasjon (NGO) og er nå en av FNs største frivilligbaserte organisasjoner. Art of Living Foundation har i dag en spesiell konsultativ rolle i FNs økonomiske og sosiale råd, og deltar i en rekke komiteer og aktiviteter relatert til helse, utdanning, bærekraftig utvikling, konfliktløsing, og katastrofehjelp.

IAHVThe International Association for Human Values Sri Sri Ravi Shankar presenterte the Universal Declaration of Human Values ved Kennedy senteret for utøvende kunst i Washington DC under Art of Livings 25 års jubileumsfeiring. Deklarasjonen er en visjon for verdenssamfunnet, og presenterer et veikart for å fremme forståelse og harmonisk sameksistens blant mennesker fra ulike kulturer (2007) Medlemmer av den amerikanske kongressen og senatet, ambassadører, dommere, bedriftsledere, forskere og andre prominente nasjonale og internasjonale ledere anerkjente og æret H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (og AOLF) for hans uvurderlige bidrag til verdenssamfunnet.

IAHVThe International Association for Human Values • IAHV is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Geneva in 1997. • Its mandate is to foster, on a global scale, a deeper understanding of the values that unite us as a human community. • Underlying this mandate is a vision of a world where people can celebrate their distinct traditions while having a greater appreciation for the values that we all have in common. • IAHV designs and conducts personal development programs to promote human values in everyday life. • It also offers community awareness of the ideals shared among diverse cultures. • IAHV upholds the conviction that the integration of human values into all aspects of life will ultimately lead to the development of a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. • The Association collaborates with others dedicated to similar goals, including governments, educational nstitutions, other NGOs, corporations and individuals. • IAHV has a special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. • Its programs include: 5H, Rural Development, Tribal School Projects, Emergency Relief and Women Empowerment.

7. Innovative Educational Programs • Sri Sri has launched far-reaching educational programs to inspire, uplift and empower individuals to live life to its fullest. • Through the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values, Sri Sri has provided customized training for different age groups and various segments of society with a common emphasis on nurturing human values common to all cultures, such as non-violence, compassion, and service. • The Art of Living Course has provided millions of people across the globe with powerful tools to eliminate stress, unlock their deepest potential and bring fullness to life. • The APEX course has helped employees in corporations and public sector organizations – such as Shell, NASA, CitiBank, World Bank -- to reduce workplace stress, and increase mental clarity and creativity. • Making ancient wisdom available to the modern world, Sri Sri inspires leaders how to balance business with ethics and social responsibility • Numerous schools set up by Sri Sri are providing value-based education to children through the Sri SriVidyaMandir. • Sri Sri has also designed special educational programs for disadvantaged groups, providing primary education in poor rural communities and urban slums.
