Centrifugal Separators Working Principles

Centrifugal separators get their name from centrifugal force, which separates particles from the solution. This process is mainly employed to separate two immiscible substances in a solution. The centrifugal separator is spun at high speed producing high gravity centrifugal force. A centrifugal separator features a feed pipe, a rotor, a drive mechanism, a bowl, a separation chamber, an outlet pipe, a scraper, and a control panel.
