AMOS 8:11-12 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.

MATTHEW 24:3-5 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

  8. True Religion/Faith • That which is agreeable to the Word of God concerning: • Who God is. • Who Jesus is. • God’s love for people. • God’s desire to save people.

  9. Solution: God’s Word • Jesus, the only way to the Father • John 14:1-6 Jesus “THE” way- the ONLY way • Ephesians 4:4-6 one, not many

  10. Solution: God’s Word • 2 Tim. 3:13-17 evil men, imposters • 2 Tim. 4:2-4 preach the word
