Jabber Installation • Download the Jabber software via IE • Input your Lenovo email address and Password if necessary during the download. • Download address • http://10.37.3.240/softphonedl/CiscoJabberSetup.rar • http://10.64.112.140/softphonedl/CiscoJabberSetup.rar • http://my.lenovo.com/Personal/SHINAN4/Documents/Shared%20with%20Everyone/CiscoJabberSetup.rar • Extract the “RAR” file.

Initial Setup -1 • Launch Jabber • Click on Manual setup and sign-in • Select Cisco IM & Presence • Select “Use the following server” • Ensure server address which is 206.16.62.6
Initial Setup -2 • Enter your IT code@lenovo.ext to login for 1st time (can use only IT code to login in future) • Enter your password = Cisco123 • Click the Sign In button
Visual VM Setup • Select File • Click options • Select Phone accounts. • Select Advanced • Enter your USERNAME = IT code • Enter your password = Cisco123 • Servers: Select “Use the following server” from the dropdown menu • Enter server address: 206.16.62.4 • Select Apply • Select OK
Headset Setup 1 of 2 • Click File • Select options • Click Audio • There are 3 sections were you must set your headset as the primary audio device: • Speaker: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Microphone: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Ringer: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Click APPLY after you make the changes. • Click ADAVNACED (continue to next page) • If your headset does not appear in the drop down box please contact Lenovo Admin (contact name)
Headset Setup 2 of 2 • Continued • You will now move your headset to the top of the list in each of the following sections: • Speaker: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Use the UP key to move your headset to the top • Microphone: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Use the UP key to move your headset to the top • Ringer: • Select your headset from the drop down menu • EX: JABRA GO 6470 (your model number will vary) • Use the UP key to move your headset to the top • Click APPLY after you make the changes. • Click OK • Congratulations you are now ready to start using Jabber
Making calls • Site to Site will need to dial the following: • Site Code • Extension number • Example 123 9999 • Type the number you want to dial in the Search Field • Press enter to initiate the call • External will need to dial the following • 9 • Area Code • Phone number • Example 9 1 3024559999 • Once you initiate a call the following window will appear • for the remainder of your call. • Click on the following ICON to access the keypad
Ad-hoc conference Step 1- after click “conference” dial 2ndpaticipant Step 2- click “join ” icon for 2ndpaticipant Step 3- all people in Ad-hoc conference
Transfer Step 1- after click “transfer”, dial destination number Step 2- click “Transfer”
Accessing your Voicemail • Click on the VM ICON • Select the VM from the list. • Press the Play button • Listen to your VM • To Delete your Voicemails: • Right Click on desired message. • Select delete.
