Issues • Beamline staff and accelerator staff need more training on use of SCB Project Proposal System and Ticket System. • More feedback from SCB required to proposal submitters • Not all large tasks are being submitted as projects and being approved by SCB • S37 scraper revision, Phase II vibration alarm system, DOE Early Career Award, 6-BM ( now corrected), Oxy-gon furnace • Ticket system designed for medium jobs is sometimes being used for larger projects by lowballing initial scope and scope increases. • Beamline engineers are reluctant to be the “bad guy” by forcing staff to submit an SCB proposal and causing delay or stopping work • Need more help from ASD and XSD management to train their staff on the use of the proposal system • Need a uniform way in which to handle effort overruns on projects and tickets • No team designers available for medium sized jobs (tickets) • Insufficient designers available for approved projects due to overun on other approved projects Go to "View | Header and Footer" to add your organization, sponsor, meeting name here; then, click "Apply to All"
