  2. Here are some technical reasons to prove that nitrogen is better for tires health and overall car handling:

  3. 1. Maintains Tire Pressure Nitrogen helps maintain the right tire pressure. This is turn adds to the life of a tire allowing better car handling. It also helps the tire to stay in good shape along with increasing fuel economy. In addition, it reduces the risk of a tire blowout. All this happens because nitrogen molecules are large in size and move slower in comparison to compressed air. This allows nitrogen to stay intact inside the tire maintaining accurate pressure for a considerable period of time.

  4. 2. Ideal for Varying Temperature Tires with nitrogen react less to changing temperatures. Usually, gases expand in heat and contract on cooler days. For racers using tires with nitrogen implies they will have more consistent increase in pressure as the tire will heat up during a race.

  5. 3. Removes Excess Water It is not a good sign to have water or moisture inside a tire as it causes pressure changes with varying temperatures. It also corrodes the steel or aluminium rim with time. However, when it comes to nitrogen-filled tires, water is not that big a concern. The process of filling tires with nitrogen includes filling them several times to get rid of excess oxygen, water, or any other gases inside the tire.
