  3. LB124 PHY Comments Summary • There are 26 PHY LB124 comments assigned to the PHY ad hoc as of April 30, 2008. • Assignees for the comments are as follows: • Adrian Stephens (1 CID) • Douglas Chan (2 CIDs) • Eldad Perahia (10 CIDs) • Vinko Erceg (13 CIDs) Vinko Erceg, Broadcom

Conference Call Minutes of April 30, 2008 • Eldad Perahia (Intel Corporation) presented document 11-08/489r0 (10 CIDs) • CIDs 6323, 6188, 6189, 6080, 6190, 6160, 6319, 6149, 6150 – No discussion, resolution accepted unanimously. • CID 6148 – Removed from the document, deferred, Adrian has a submission 08/492r0 regarding CID 6302 that proposes to remove the text. We will wait for this submission to be presented first and then refer to it. • Document 11-08/489r1 (CID 6148 removed, deferred) was uploaded to the server during the conference call. • Vote to accept the resolutions to the CIDs presented in document 11-08/489r1 passed unanimously. Conference Call Minutes of April 30, 2008 (2) • Vinko Erceg (Broadcom Corporation) presented document 11-08/482r0 (13 CIDs) • CID 6327 – There was a straw poll to keep STBC as an optional feature (Yes 9/No 0). Comment was rejected. Ad hoc has to approve proposed rejection text in the next meeting. • CID 6168 was withdrawn by commenter (Vinko Erceg). • CIDs 6161 and 6162 – deferred, Bjorn Bjerke noted that normative text can not be inserted in the informative sub-section. Vinko Erceg proposed to insert the text outside the sub-section, at the end of the section. Proposal was accepted. • CID 6156 – Bjorn and Adrian proposed modification to the proposed resolution: "With more than four transmit chains, each cyclic shift on the additional transmit chains shall be between -200 ns and 0 ns.” There was no objection to this new proposal. • Proposed resolutions to other 9 CIDs in the document were accepted unanimously. CIDs: 6144, 6167, 6165, 6191, 6166, 6163, 6152, and 6154. • New revision of the document will be presented in Jacksonville IEEE meeting in May with the 4 CIDs mentioned above updated. Status As of April 30, 2008 • As of April 30, 2008: • 17 out of 26 CIDs have resolutions approved by the PHY ad hoc • 6323, 6188, 6189, 6080, 6190, 6160, 6319, 6149, 6150, 6144, 6167, 6165, 6191, 6166, 6163, 6152, and 6154 • 4 CIDs has been deferred for further consideration • 6148, 6161, 6162, 6156 • CID 6327 requires ad hoc’s approval of the proposed rejection text. Jacksonville May 12, 2008 Minutes (1) • Adrian Stephens (Intel Corporation) presented document 11-08/492r0 (1 CID) • CID 6302 – No discussion, resolution accepted unanimously. • CID 6148 was referred to the document 11-08/492r0, comment resolved, resolution accepted unanimously. • Vinko Erceg (Broadcom Corporation) presented document 11-08/482r1 (4 deferred CIDs) • CID 6327 – No discussion, resolution accepted unanimously. • CID 6162 – Resolution changed to reject, accepted unanimously. • CID 6161 – No discussion, resolution accepted unanimously. • CID 6156 – Resolution was modified, accepted unanimously. • Final document is 11-08/482r2. Jacksonville May 13, 2008 Minutes (1) • Douglas Chan (Cisco Systems) presented document 11-08/598r3 (2 CIDs) • CIDs 6076 and 6138 – Resolutions accepted unanimously. • It was decided that Douglas will send an email to the reflector that the regulatory classe(s) were modified (compared to the 802.11n Draft 4.0). Jacksonville May 13, 2008 Minutes (2) • Proposed comment resolutions in submissions 11-08/598r3, 11-08/482r2, 11-08/489r1, 11-08/492r0 and CID 6148 resolution will be presented for a motion in full TGn session. • This includes all CIDs assigned to the PHY ad hoc during the LB124. • There were no objections, above was approved by the PHY ad hoc.
