Planning Services A Software Assurance benefit Software Assurance (SA) customers can use their Planning Services (PS) days to receive pre-defined deployment planning engagements from Microsoft Services or qualified Microsoft partners. Depending on your Software Assurance agreement, you may be eligible for up to 15 days of consulting services. Planning Services Snapshot SA customer earns PS days. Customer redeems PS days for engagement. Partner or Microsoft Services delivers engagement. Microsoft pays partner.

Eligibility Determining your Planning Service days As a Software Assurance customer you may be eligible for Planning Service days • The number of days are calculated based on the type and number of licenses you have with Software Assurance. • Check your organization’s benefits www.microsoft.com/softwareassurance • Access and manage your Planning Services days using the Volume Licensing Service Center https://licensing.microsoft.com
Process for Using Planning Service Days Two steps for customers Redeem your PS days for an engagement by: Activating your voucher benefits through the VLSC online tool. Assigning the voucher to an approved PVDPS provider or Microsoft Services. Have a partner in mind? Check here to make sure they’re eligible. Voucher Lifecycle Partner Customer Customer Partner Partner Partner Partner Register to provide PVDPS Activate Voucher Benefit Create & Assign Voucher Reserve Voucher Deliver engagement Redeem Voucher Invoice Voucher At the end of the engagement, the partner uses the voucher to get paid by Microsoft.
