8. 元始天尊 • 後來他終於訪到了元始天尊門下，但元始天尊還從來沒收過像他這樣的徒弟，所以拒絕收他。 • Finally, he came to the door of the Primeval Lord of Heaven. But the Lord did not received him as a disciple, for he had never a disciple as him.

10. 鐵了心 • 可姜子牙就是鐵了心求道，任怎麼趕就是不走，一有機會就跪在元始天尊面前求師收留。 • Jiang Ziya, with all his heart and mind, aspired to Tao. He stayed no matter how the Lord asked him to go. He knelt before the Lord whenever he had a chance to ask the master to receive him.

12. 攆 • 元始天尊一看攆不走他，乾脆就不理睬他了，轉身躺到碧游床上睡覺去了，這一覺就是三百年。 • The Primeval Lord of Heaven knew that it was uneasy to drive him away. He just turned a blind eye to him and fell asleep on his jade bed, and the Lord was asleep for 300 years.

14. 小旋風 • 醒來一看，飛熊雖然沒了，皮肉骨頭都變成灰了，可是細看還有一個小旋風在那滴溜溜的轉著哪，姜子牙根本就沒離開師父的床前一步。 • The flying bear disappeared when the Lord got up. All its skin, meat, and bones had became dust. Only a small whirlwind left, turning round and round, not willing to go a step away the bed.

16. 癡心 • 面對此情景，元始天尊也為之感動，就歎了口氣說：「子牙，你起來吧，難得你這麼癡心。」 • Seeing this, the Lord was touched. He sighed, saying, “Ziya, you can stand up now, you are unusual to have such a resolution.

18. 道 • 況且姜子牙已熊身化盡，於是就把他收為弟子，傳與真道。 • Besides, Jiang Ziya’s bear body had reduced into dust. The Lord received him as his disciple.

20. 信任 • 再說封神這件事情，元始天尊有十二弟子，唯獨選中了姜子牙去封神，說明元始天尊對他非常信任。 • About the duty of canonizing gods in heaven, the Primeval Lord of Heaven appointed only Jiang Ziya to do it among his 12 disciples. It showed that the Lord place confidence in him.

It was a big deal to build a house in a country place, especially when the beam was to be set up. A solemn ceremony was held for it. The honorable guests like patriarch and necromancer were invited. The rituals as banquet, burning long incense, worshiping to heaven and earth, and express thanks to all neighbors.
