  2. How does it work? • This is similar to the previous rule and BOMDAS. • Every index inside the brackets needs to be multiplied by the index on the outside. Confused... Give it a go.

  3. Example (x/y)m = (x1/y1)m = x1xm/y1xm = xm/ym Make sure you leave it in index form. However you only need to write the first and the last line.

  4. Why use it? • Search the net to find out 2 occupations which use index laws and whether or not you will use it in the career path in which u want to follow. Once you have done this post it to your blog.
