Prone to Wander2 Chronicles 14-16 Question for today: Why as followers of Christ, do we walk in complete trust at some points in our lives and then at other times are willing to trade in our peace and hope for turmoil and despair?
Prone to Wander2 Chronicles 14-16 1. Prosperity (Deut 8) It is a blessing from God BUT…… It can lead to a sense of satisfaction and contentment outside of God. It may cause us to forget the past. Action Item: Let’s not be tempted into minimizing our prosperity by comparing ourselves to others! 2. People (1 Samuel 8) God can use people in our lives, BUT…. Big trouble starts when we value human help over Godly assistance. If human wisdom is primarily what we seek, then we forgo God’s peace, provision, and perfect timing. Action Item: Use people as a resource, not a resolution!
