WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES: • To explore how the provision of national usage statistics can add value to member institutions and CRKN content programs • To explore opportunities for collection, analysis and dissemination of usage statistics that could: • Respond to CRKN member needs • Be implemented • Be sustained CRKN AGM 2010
EVIDENCE OF NEED: • Communications outreach survey of members conducted in 2009 • Respondents identified the collection of usage statistics and reports as important communication tools CRKN AGM 2010
STRATEGIC DIRECTION: 1.0 Enhance our Products and Services 1.2 OBJECTIVE: Develop tools to aid in content selection and management. ACTIONS Continue development of the License Information Module, including French interface Explore cost-effective means for collecting and managing usage statistics Initiate development of target lists for link resolvers that can be implemented on members’ systems CRKN AGM 2010
