Non-Motor Features of PD Those symptoms that we never thought meant PD The ones that most affect/alter the quality of life of those living with PD.
Non-motor symptoms • Fatigue • Sleep disorders • Pain and Sensory dysfunctions • Autonomic nervous system dysfunctions • Neuropsychiatric manifestations • Impulse control disorders • Cognitive changes or impairments • Under-recognized and under-treated
Autonomic dysfunctionwhat is that? • Olfactory loss • Visual alterations • Urinary dysfunction, urgency, retention, incontinence • Constipation • Sexual dysfunction • Orthostatic hypotension • Body temperature - Intolerance to hot, cold environments - Diffuse sweating during OFF periods • Dry and scaly or oily skin
