Background • IC Mexico has the 2004 successful experience • IC Week 2004: 12 Teams for Windmill, 11 for Columbus, 9 for Mercelis and 4 for Juego de Pelota • With 21.2 M people, Mexico City is the Capital of Mexico and the largest city in the Western Hemisphere, the 3rd largest Worldwide and the 7th richest city, growing at 3.5% Cathedral Historic Center • Mexico City has an elevation of 2,241m (7,352 ft) • Weather in April. Average temperature of 11-26 C (52-79 F). Average precipitation: 1.1 inches of rain (vs June 6.2, July 7.2, Aug 6.8 and Sep 5.7)

Up to 8 teams. 2 players, Captain • Fees per team: Windmill: $3,000, Mercelis: $1,800, Columbus $3,000, Juego de Pelota: $1,800 • The above includes for the players: 5 hotel nights, breakfasts, transportation to and from the clubs, lunches at the clubs, 3 dinners and 2 sightseeing tours. See programme for details. • A special hotel rate and an event package will be available for companions and extra players Confirmations will be on a first paid, first accepted basis

  8. Pyramid of the Sun Teotihuacan, near Mexico City Tentative Programme Saturday April 12th. Arrival & registry in the Hospitality Room at the Hotel. Free day to adjust and to possible tennis practice. (May be used to do sightseeing or side tours around the City.) Sunday April 13th. Arrival & registry in the Hospitality Room at the Hotel. Free day to adjust and to possible tennis practice. (May be used to do sightseeing or side tours around the City.) Monday April 14th. Final day register at Hospitality Room for team players. Morning practice. Mid day tour to the Pyramids. Afternoon Captain’s Meeting and “Draws”. Evening “Welcome-get-together-Cocktail” at the Hotel. Tuesday April 15th. In the morning Tournaments start at four Tennis Clubs. (First official paid night) Lunches will be served to the players in each Club. Free Night. Extra curriculum activities offered Wednesday April 16th. Second day of official Tournaments and Consolation. (Second official paid night) Lunches will be served to the players at each Club. Afternoon visit to the famous Anthropology Museum. Free night. Menu of extra curriculum activities offered. Feathered Serpent, Teotihuacan

  9. Tentative Programme Chapultepec Castle Gardens Thursday April 17th. Third official Tournaments day. Quarter (Third official paid night) Finals. Lunches for the players at the Clubs. Guided visit to the Historical Center of Mexico City. Dinner “Parrillada” at Reforma Club. Special recognitions, gifts and IC Clubs performances Friday April 18th. All semi finals staged at the Club Raqueta Bosques. (Fourth official paid night) All the lunches will be served at this one Club. Free night. Again a list of activities will be available. Saturday April 19th. Final day. All Competitions at Club Raqueta Bosques. (Fifth official paid night) Suggest all gather to see the finals and have lunch there. At night, Award Formal Dinner. Coat and Club ties. Awards will be presented to the winners . Honorary Memberships will be granted and special recognitions. Sunday April 20th. Travel back day

Brief History of the ILTC(International Lawn Tennis Club) • Founded in 1924 by Arthur Wallis Myers • Increase International friendship and understanding through tennis • Maintain, encourage and develop the highest standards of good sportmanship • Contribute to the enhancement of the lives of young, underpriviledged people through teaching the value of sports and tennis in particular • 40 countries are represented today in the IC Council in Wimbledon • Every year, several IC tournaments and dual meets are played all over the world • The IC week takes place every 3-4 years • The IC of Mexico has the honor to host the IC Week in 2014 to celebrate its 40th anniversary
