Comparative Analysis of NAM Domain Sequences in StNAC Proteins with Arabidopsis Homologs

Multiple sequence alignment of 136 StNAC proteins' NAM domains, compared with three Arabidopsis NAC proteins. Conserved N-terminal domains (A-D) and putative nuclear localization signals shown. StNAC036.1 has NAM domains at N- and C-terminals.

  1. A B C D Supplementary Figure S2. Multiple sequence alignment of NAM domain sequence of 136 identified StNAC proteins together with three representative Arabidopsis NAC proteins, ANAC019 (AT1G52890), ANAC055 (AT3G15500) and ANAC072/RD26 (AT4G27410). The highly conserved N-terminal NAM domain is divided in to four subdomains (A to D), which are indicated by lines above the sequences. The putative nuclear localization signal (NLS) sequence is indicated by double headed arrow below the sequence. StNAC036.1 consists of two NAM domain one each at N-terminal and C-terminal of the protein, which are named as StNAC036.1N and StNAC036.1C, respectively.
